Bangor continued their seemingly relentless charge towards a return to senior football with victory over PSNI at The Dub.

The Seasiders are now 11 points clear at the top after early goals from Adam Neale and Ben Arthurs set them up to claim the win.

Neale struck on seven minutes at the back post before Arthurs was teed up by Scott McArthur with just over a quarter-of-an-hour on the clock.

Ryan Woods pulled one back for the PSNI midway through the second half but they remain six points adrift at the bottom.

Tobermore United secured their place in the post-split top six with a 2-1 defeat of Dollingstown at Fortwilliam Park.

Scoreless at the break, goals from Mark Edgar and Rhys O’Mullan handed United the points, with Daniel Gordon bagging a consolation for the Dollybirds.

Lisburn Distillery missed out on a top six place after going down by a single goal to Moyola Park at the Coleraine Showgrounds. Ian Parkhill knocked home what proved to be the winner in the closing moments of the first half with a great strike into the top corner.

Meanwhile, at Crystal Park, Limavady United hit two goals without reply past Banbridge Town to strengthen their play-off hopes.

The Roesiders have Ryan Doherty and Dean Brown to thank for their second half strikes as they remain fourth but are now only four points off second spot.
