The Seasiders moved in front as early as the tenth minutes when Seanan Foster sent a ball into the box for Adam Neale to meet at the far post and fire past keeper Jamie Logan.
Then, just after the half-hour mark, Bangor doubled their lead through Jordan Hughes' finish into an empty net after Logan failed to cut out am Aaron Harris cross from the left.
Ballymacash moved back into second spot courtesy of a 3-1 defeat of Banbridge Town at Crystal Park.
