Just one point separates the top three sides in the Lough 41 Premier Intermediate League following five weeks of action.

Bangor moved into top spot on goal difference after a five-goal thumping of Armagh City at Clandeboye Park.

Jamie Glover fired the Seasiders in front midway through the first half with David Hume adding a second nine minutes after the interval. The brothers Neale then took over the scoring with Adam hitting two either side of a Reece strike into the bottom right corner.

Morning leaders Ballymacash Rangers hit two goals without reply past Tobermore United at Fortwilliam Park. Both goals came early in proceedings with Justin Armstrong registering after just four minutes and Jack Smith knocking home the second on 22 minutes.

Dollingstown are a point further behind in third spot. Goals from Ben Neill and Liam Toman handed them the advantage at the break away to Portstewart and although Jordan Hassan pulled one back early in the second half the Dollybirds held on to claim the win.

Lisburn Distillery picked up their first win of the campaign thanks to Josh Lynch’s late free-kick at home to fourth place Moyola Park while Stephen McCavitt and Conor Downey were on target as Banbridge Town defeated Queen’s University by the odd goal in three at Crystal Park.

Meanwhile, at the Dub, Limavady United came from behind to defeat the PSNI. Matthew Hanna edged the Police in front in the latter stages of the first half but Caiolan Brennan levelled soon after before Ryan Doherty knocked home what proved to the winner around the hour mark.
