Ballyclare Comrades man Darius Roohi has been named Championship Player of the Month for October.
The ex-Warrenpoint Town centre forward scored five goals in the month, hitting a brace in the Comrades' five-goal victories over both Dundela and Harland and Wolff Welders.
Roohi said: “It feels great to win my first Player of the Month award, but really, I'm here on behalf of everyone at Ballyclare.
“I'm collecting the award but the players have to take credit for creating chances for me to score, the manager for picking me, the board and last but not least the supporters, without them none of us would be there.
“It's a whole club thing in my view. It's great we're starting to find form now and the only way is up.
“I’d like to thank NIFWA for selecting me for this prestigious prize.”
