Ballymena United defensive duo Lee Chapman and Christopher Rodgers have been released from their contracts at their own request following the conclusion of the season.
Both made the switch from Carrick Rangers last summer. Chapman, 27, went on to make 11 appearances while 31-year-old Rodgers turned out on 17 occasions to bring his overall number of games for his hometown club to over 50.
Paying tribute to both, boss David Jeffrey said: "Lee has been most professional during his time here, in fact in my lengthy time in football management I've rarely come across someone with such a professional approach and attitude.
"His commitment and hard work were always evident to see and whilst he was unfortunate to suffer some niggling injuries during the season, when he was fully fit he was back pushing for that place again especially in the latter stages of the season.
"Chris is a most professional young man and represents his club with great pride, it was a privilege to see and work with someone who works to such high standards.
"He will not be a stranger to the club, this is his team and he will always be welcome here and we will see him back supporting the team, of that there is no doubt. We give him our very best wishes and grateful thanks."
