Portadown held onto their Danske Bank Premiership place after defeating Annagh United at Shamrock Park to win the play-off 4-2 on aggregate.
The Ports started brighter, edging the opening quarter-of-an-hour and came closest when the unmarked Adam Salley failed to make the most of Josh Doherty's cross from the left.
Annagh had the ball in the net midway through the first half but Peter Duffin's close range finish was ruled out offside in what was turning into a game of few chances.
However, Annagh did create the best chance of the scoreless first half moments from the break when Stephen Murray's rifled effort from just inside the area fell inches wide of the upright.
The visitors, trailing by a goal from the first leg, came storming out of the blocks in the second half and might have opened the scoring through Aaron Rogers only to see his effort drift the wrong side of the post.
At the other end the Ports almost found a way through after Annagh keeper Eoin Hughes came well outside his area to make a clearance only to send it straight to the feet of Oisin Conaty but his goalbound effort was lofted wide.
Conaty almost had his say again after that when he fizzed the ball across the face of goal but the incoming Jack Smith just failed to make a connection.
But the Ports did eventually find the net with a couple of minutes remaining to maintain their place in the top flight after Stephen Teggart's low cross from the left side of the area was turned into his own net Lee Upton to put Portadown two goals clear on aggregate.
