Linfield loanee Adam Carroll is the Championship Player of the Month for February.

Carroll has helped propel his temporary club Annagh United up the Championship table with three goals in four games. The 20 year-old found the net against Dungannon Swifts, Harland and Wolff Welders and Newry City.

He said: "We’re up to second in the table now. After the 3-0 win over Newry, there’s no reason why we can’t kick-on and win promotion.

"I’m just pleased to be playing well, getting game time and scoring goals. I’m really enjoying my time at Annagh and my time in the Championship. It’s a great club. Hopefully my experience at Annagh will help me win a place in the Linfield first team next year. That’s my aim."
