Glentoran have made their third signing of the close season with the arrival of Harry Murphy from Portadown.
The 18-year-old defender makes the switch from Shamrock Park after making his debut for the club last season.
Oval boss Mick McDermott sang the praises of his latest recruit on the official club website: "Harry is relatively young at only 18 years old, but we saw first-hand his potential when we played against Portadown late last season.
"We believe our fulltime environment, combined with his abilities, hunger and work-ethic is a perfect match at this stage of his career. I look forward to working with him in the coming weeks as we begin preparations for the new season."
Murphy, for his part, is looking forward to getting started with the East Belfast outfit: "I can’t wait to get started now and help aim for a better season. We want to win the big things and that’s why I’m here.
“I want to win trophies and do as well as I can in the game. I believe this is the club I can do that at. I’m excited to be here.”
