Glentoran's summer rebuilding has continued with the arrival of keeper Michael Argyrides from Larne.

The 23-year-old custodian arrives at the BetMcLean Oval after a season at Inver Park, which followed on with a curtailed spell with Dundela due to the pandemic. Prior to that he had appeared for Vaughan Azzurri in his homeland.

Oval boss Mick McDermott hailed his new arrival, telling the official club site: "Michael will add quality and depth to our squad; he will fit right away to our full-time training environment under Elliott Morris.

"It is important that we bring quality professionals to our club, and Michael meets that criteria. We know he will be welcomed by our fans".
