There was no change at the top of the Lough 41 Championship as leading pair Annagh United and Loughgall cancelled each other out but there were victories for Warrenpoint Town, Dundela and Knockbreda.
Annagh moved in front at the BMG Arena with just over a quarter-of-an-hour on the clock when Ryan Moffatt reacted quickest after Stephen Murray’s free-kick was pushed away but the Villagers levelled on 64 minutes when Nathaniel Ferris converted from the spot.
Third placed Dundela defeated HW Welders by three goals to win the east Belfast derby at Wilgar Park. Benny Igiehon opened the scoring early on but it was two finishes midway through the second half from supersub Rhys Annett that sealed the win for Niall Currie’s side.
Warrenpoint Town also hit three in their victory over Dergview at Darragh Park. After going in front with around 20 minutes on the clock via a Dale Maxwell own goal ‘Point extended their lead when Steven Ball found the net close to the break before Adam Wixted completed the scoring not long after the interval.
Institute and Ballinamallard United shared the spoils at the Brandywell. Matthew Walker opened the scoring for ‘Stute just before the hour but it proved to be a short lived advantage when Mark Stafford levelled just seven minutes later.
Meanwhile, Knockbreda bagged a last minute winner through Anthony Burns as they edged to victory over Newington at Breda Park while, on Friday night, goals from Ross Hunter and Eamon Scannell helped Ards get the better of Ballyclare Comrades at Clandeboye Park.
