Glentoran Women Reserves beat Linfield Ladies Swifts to the Electric Ireland Women’s Academy League title with an emphatic 6-1 victory in South Belfast.
The Blues only needed a draw at home to win the league title but a double from Rhianna Murphy and a hat-trick from Rachel McIntyre secured a thumping win for the Glens, with substitute Francesca Costa i Fassunge also netting as Anna Walsh scored a consolation for the hosts.
Both sides finished the campaign on 25 points from 10 games, but the Glens had a goal difference of 36 compared to just 13 for Linfield.
Cliftonville Corinthians all-but-assured a fourth-placed finish with a 4-1 win over Crusaders Strikers Under-19s as Katie Markey bagged a hat-trick and Tara Reilly also scored, with Aimee-lee Peachey pulling one back for the Crues.
Sion Swifts Ladies Under-19s secured a third-placed finish with a 6-2 win over Derry City Women Under-19s, with Zahara Leckey, Niamh Coyle, Cate Toland, Cache Crumlish, Ellie Long and Amy McFarland all on the scoresheet.
