BBC Sport NI and the NI Football League can announce two important live games in men’s and women’s football this week.

The first live Friday Night Football of the new Danske Bank Premiership season kicks-off at Windsor Park this week with champions Linfield hosting Cliftonville at 7.45pm. Hosted by Stephen Watson the game is live on BBC Two NI this Friday 1 October.

Before that, the Danske Bank Women’s Premiership could be decided this Wednesday evening as the top two meet at the Oval as Glentoran Women host Cliftonville Ladies. The Women’s Premiership clash will be streamed live on BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport NI website (bbc.co.uk/sportni) with a 7.45pm kick-off.
