© Declan Roughan/PressEye Lee Lynch celebrates scoring for Larne
Cliftonville were the only side to enjoy any home comfort this afternoon as Coleraine, Glenavon and Larne all picked up three points on the road.

The Reds moved to the top of the table with a 100% record after three outings after a closely fought affair with Glentoran at Solitude.

What proved to be the only goal of the game came with 20 minutes remaining when Ryan Curran reacted quickest to pounce on the loose ball after Jamie McDonagh's initial effort had been kept out by Aaron McCarey.

Coleraine got their first points on the board with a 3-0 win away to Carrick Rangers. Conor McKendry opened the scoring after 12 minutes with a ball from the right which went over debutant home keeper Neil Shields. Matthew Shevlin then struck twice in the second half to make sure of the win for Oran Kearney's side.

Larne travelled to Portadown and emerged on top by the odd goal in five. The visitors led by two goals at the break thanks to Dean Jarvis and Mark Randall before Ruairi Croskery pulled one back for Ports midway through the second half.

Lee Lynch restored Larne's two goal cushion in stoppage time but there was still time for Greg Hall to grab a second for the home side.

Top scorers on the day, Glenavon, swept to a 6-1 win over Warrenpoint Town at Milltown.

'Point moved in front through Fra McCaffrey on 11 minutes but, just over a minute later, Peter Campbell levelled for the visitors. Matthew Fitzpatrick then knocked home two more before the midway point in the first half with Andy Waterworth bagging a fourth not long from the interval.

The former Linfield man doubled his tally around the hour mark with Danny Purkis completing the scoring late on.
