Linfield boss David Healy is the Aktivora Manager of the Month for October.

Healy’s Linfield completed the month unbeaten, with victories over Carrick Rangers, Warrenpoint Town and Dungannon Swifts. The Blues also drew with Cliftonville and Larne.

A delighted Healy said: “I would like to thank the Football Writers’ and their sponsors Aktivora for this award.

“We have made a good start to the season, even though we’ve had a tough schedule and we are still adjusting to life as a full-time team. We had a gruelling schedule at the tail end of last season, before competing in European competition in the summer, so there was always likely to be a period of adjustment.

“The boys are now starting to get to grips with our new way of working, and I’m happy with our progress. Regardless of whether we are full-time or part-time, there are always expectations at Linfield, and we’re working towards matching those expectations.”
