Shayne Lavery has been called up to the senior Northern Ireland squad for the forthcoming World Cup qualifiers with Italy and Bulgaria, plus the friendly against the United States of America.
Lavery comes into the panel as a replacement for Conor Washington who dropped out at the weekend through injury.
The 22-year-old has five caps to his name to date after making his debut almost three years ago, and has been in superb form for Linfield this season with 19 goals in 21 Danske Bank Premiership outings for the defending champions.
Northern Ireland face the Italians in Parma on Thursday (25th), then have back-to-back home games against USA on Sunday 28th and Bulgaria next Wednesday (31st).
