Shayne Lavery has left league and cup winners Linfield to begin the next stage of his career at English Championship side Blackpool.
Lavery, 22, arrived at Windsor Park two seasons ago and in that time has bagged 47 goals in 77 outings for the Blues, has been capped at full international level and picked up many individual awards including most recently the Player and Young Player of the Year gongs at the Northern Ireland Football Awards.
After coming through the youth ranks at Portadown and Glenavon first moved cross channel to sign for Everton for a couple of years during which time he went on loan to Scottish side Falkirk before returning to Northern Ireland.
Speaking to the official Blackpool website, Lavery looked back fondly on his time at Linfield.
"I had mixed emotions last week lifting the league and cup with Linfield, knowing in the back of my head that I'd be moving on. I've loved my time there and I'm very grateful for everything they've done for me."
