Larne have signed a second goalkeeper in as many days with the arrival of Michael Argyrides from Dundela.
The 22-year-old Canadian came to Northern Ireland back in September last year but his playing opportunities at Wilgar Park were obviously curtailed by the suspension of the Championship campaign, making only two Co. Antrim Shield appearances against Queen's University and Cliftonville.
Since then Argyrides has spent some time training with Larne and was subsequently signed by Tiernan Lynch to bolster his panel ahead of the forthcoming season.
Speaking to the official club website, he said: “Last year I was playing football in university and, due to Covid, our season was cut short.
“I ended up signing with Dundela where we were only able to play two competitive games and now I’m here at Larne. It’s been great to spend to time around the club, and I’ve learned lots from the goalkeepers I’ve worked with and Alan Blayney so far."
