Armagh City defeated morning leaders Bangor to move to the top of the Lough 41 Premier Intermediate League while there were also wins for Limavady United, PSNI and Newington.
Michael Halliday had given the Seasiders an early lead at Clandeboye Park but goals from Ruairi Duffy and Marc McConnell midway through the first half tipped the balance in favour of the Eagles before top scorer Conor Mullen added a third not long after the interval.
Newington also came from behind to defeat Tobermore United by the same 3-1 scoreline at Fortwilliam Park. Skipper Conor Kearns had edged United in front from the spot late in the first half but three goals in quick succession after the break from Conal Burns, Jack Reilly and Patrick Downey saw the Swans sweep to victory.
Third placed Limavady United had goals from Josh Tennant and Alex Pomeroy to thank for their 2-1 defeat of Lisburn Distillery at The Showgrounds while it finished scoreless at Crystal Park between Banbridge Town and Dollingstown.
However, it was a case of goals galore at Mill Meadow as Moyola Park thumped PSNI 9-2. Tiarnan Rafferty and Tomas McCann both bagged hat-tricks for the home side with Rhys O'Mullan [2] and Robert McLean also finding the net. Kyle McDowell and Mark Johnston knocked home the two consolation goals for the visitors.
