Coleraine goalkeeper Gareth Deane has been named Danske Bank Player of the Month for November by NIFWA.
Deane enjoyed a superb month as Coleraine finished November unbeaten, conceding just one goal.
The former Linfield goalkeeper kept clean sheets against Carrick Rangers, Glentoran, Dungannon Swifts and Cliftonville.
A delighted Deane said: “It’s a good personal achievement for me, but a goalkeeper can’t keep clean sheets on his own. It’s a team effort and the boys in front of me has been superb.
“Thankfully, when I was called into action, I was able to make some important saves.”
Reflecting on his decision to swap Windsor Park for the Coleraine Showgrounds, Deane believes he made the right call.
“When I first got the call from Oran Kearney he told me that if I signed for Coleraine, I wouldn’t regret it. And he was right.
“I love the club. The fans are brilliant, and everyone is pulling in the same direction. The club have a four-year plan that involves improving the stadium. It’s a great place to be, at the moment.”
Cliftonville’s Jonny Addis was runner-up, with Linfield’s Jordan Stewart third.
