It was another action-filled midweek of Danske Bank Women's Premiership action as 20 goals flew in across the three matches on Wednesday.

Glentoran and Cliftonville both registered victories with their title battle set to go to the wire, as Crusaders beat Linfield 6-2 with Emily Wilson netting a hat-trick.

Here is some reaction from after the games.

Nicole Caldwell, Cliftonville
“We made the first half a bit hard for ourselves and didn’t take our chances when they come our way.

“But we got a goal right at the start of the second half and that was enough to carry us on from there and get the win.

“We are really happy with the result and an important three points.”

Emily Wilson, Crusaders
“I thought the first 20 minutes we started off really well and got the early goal.

“Then we dropped off a little bit and conceded and that is something we didn’t want to do, but we were much better and more aggressive in the second half.

“Our passing and movement was so much better, and we had some really good passages of play.

“It was pleasing that we were able to keep up our intensity because that is what swung the game our way.

“Obviously it’s great to get a hat-trick but my teammates were really good tonight and they gave me plenty of service, so I’m glad for that and being able to put them away.”
