No fewer than 14 stars from the Danske Bank Women's Premiership have been named in the Northern Ireland panel for the forthcoming Women’s Euro 2022 play-off matches against Ukraine.
Manager Kenny Shiels has named a 23-strong squad for the first leg in Kovalivka on April 9th and the return four days later at Seaview.
Champions Glentoran Women have six players called up, namely goalkeeper Jackie Burns, Emma McMaster in defence, midfield duo Nadene Caldwell and Samantha Kelly plus strike pair Kerry Beattie and Danielle Maxwell.
Linfield Ladies are represented by Ashley Hutton, Kelsie Burrows (both defenders) and midfielder Rebecca McKenna.
And both North Belfast clubs have a couple of players each selected by Shiels - Toni-Leigh Finnegan and Marissa Callaghan for Cliftonville Ladies while Crusaders Strikers provide Julie Nelson and Emily Wilson.
In addition, Sion Swifts Ladies' striker Kirsty McGuinness - last season's leading scorer - will be hoping to make her presence felt in front of goal.
