There were wins for Crusaders, Glenavon, Dungannon Swifts and Carrick Rangers tonight in the Danske Bank Premiership while Warrenpoint Town and Larne shared the spoils at Milltown.
A Jordan Owens header midway through the second half gave the Crues the edge over Coleraine at Seaview, a win that moves Stephen Baxter's side onto 12 points alongside leaders Linfield at the top of the table.
Larne missed out on the chance to go top themselves. Tiernan Lynch's charges were forced to come from a goal behind away to Warrenpoint Town. Fra McCaffrey had given 'Point the lead on the hour but Josh Robinson levelled for the visitors ten minutes later.
Biggest scorers on the night were Carrick Rangers, and Michael Smith in particular who bagged a hat-trick in a 4-1 victory over Portadown at the Loughshore Hotel Arena.
Meanwhile, at Stangmore Park Douglas Wilson helped himself to a brace in Dungannon Swifts' defeat of Cliftonville while Matthew Fitzpatrick and Gregory Moorhouse were on target as Glenavon hit two goals without reply past Ballymena United at The Showgrounds.
