The NI Football League can confirm the newly proposed dates for both the 2020/21 NIFL Championship and NIFL Premier Intermediate League.

Following a meeting of the NIFL Championship Management Committee tonight, club representatives have agreed to start the 2020/21 NIFL Championship season on Saturday 2 January 2021.

Following a further meeting of the NIFL Premier Intermediate League Committee, club representatives have voted to start the 2020/21 NIFL Premier Intermediate League season on Saturday 2 January 2021, subject to clubs’ participation in divisional cup competitions.

All dates are subject to any restrictions in place on the date in question.
