Knockbreda have become the latest club to show its support to frontline health workers during the coronavirus pandemic.
The Bluefin Sport Championship club raised a sum of money which it distributed to three facilities in the local area.
"One of our players Jake McNeill put a message into the players' group chat during the week about doing a collection for the NHS," said coach Michael Morrow.
"Laurelhill House in Lisburn, Limetree House in Dundonald and Bradley Manor in Belfast were chosen, with the total then divided between the three care homes.
"The club has have family members who are either being cared for, or working on the front line.
"We thought all three are very worthwhile causes for the work they are doing. Hopefully it helps in some way."
