Gareth Tommons will become the latest experienced campaigner to join HW Welders when the transfer window opens in August.
The 31-year-old midfielder arrives at Tillysburn Park from east Belfast rivals Dundela after 30 appearances last season, and brings with him a rich and highly regarded Irish League background following previous stints with Ards, Coleraine and Limavady United.
The move comes after Welders boss Gary Smyth had swooped to bring keeper Joe McGovern and strikers Matthew Ferguson and Michael McLellan to the club earlier in the week.
