Newry City manager Darren Mullen has added to his goalkeeping choices at The Showgrounds with the signing of Mark Byrne from Warrenpoint Town.
The 19-year-old arrives following a season at Milltown which produced 14 appearances in all competitions.
Mullen was delighted to add the young custodian to his panel, "Mark comes us to us with Premiership experience and I’ve no doubt he will be a good addition to the squad," he told the club's social media channels.
"He has all the attributes and potential to develop into a top class goalkeeper with us. Damian McCorry, our goalkeeping coach, and Mickey Keenan have been working with both Mark and Lewis (Hunter) and we now have two hungry young goalkeepers ready to fight it out for the No.1 jersey.”
