Kyle Cherry is the latest player to commit his future to Carrick Rangers after agreeing a new two-year deal with boss Niall Currie.
The 27-year-old has been back with the 'Gers since June last year, his second spell at the club after two-and-a-half seasons with Ards. He initially joined the club from Dundela back in August 2014 whilst, prior to that, he had spent a few years with Glentoran.
Speaking to the official club website, Cherry was pleased to have extended his stay at the Loughshore Hotel Arena.
"I'm delighted to sign a two year extension. I feel like the club is in a fantastic position on and off the field and I want to part of what's moving forward. Hopefully I am able to build on the form I was showing towards the end of last season and can’t wait to get back at it," he said.
