The good news continues for Portadown fans with the announcement that no fewer than another four of the Bluefin Sport Championship winning squad have pledged their future to the club.
Following on from the signing of Ruairi Croskery plus contract extensions for Paddy McNally, Conall McGrandles and Stephen Murray is news of new deals for Christopher Crane, Chris Lavery, Stephen Teggart and Adam McCallum, all on two year contracts.
Defender Crane, 21, arrived at the Ports from Ballyclare Comrades last summer and made 27 appearances last term, while 29-year-old Lavery made the switch from Glentoran in June 2017 and weighed in with four goals in 18 midfield appearances during the season just finished.
Teggart (22), a close season midfield signing from Newry City a year ago, clocked up 30 appearances (scoring twice) during the 2019/20 campaign while defender McCallum, also 22, has been at Shamrock Park for a couple of years, turning out 11 times last season.
