Glenavon’s Covid-19 Response Initiative continues to help provide support to their fans in need.
Stimulated by an idea from a member of the club's Development Group, a Covid-19 Response Initiative was launched by a group comprising fans, club volunteers, coaches, players and directors.
The Bedeck Suite within Mourneview Park was opened on designated times for the collection of grocery and cleaning items which are then distributed throughout the local community.
Initially Season Ticket holders were contacted to ensure that those most in need were being taken care of. The initiative was also promoted on the club's social media.

As the initiative has developed, referrals have been made by those concerned about elderly or infirm relatives, by the ABC council and the local Health and Social Care Trust.
To date over 200 individuals have received assistance through the provision of groceries while others will have had essential medication collected for them.
As part of the initiative the manager and members of the first team squad will also telephone elderly supporters of the club to check on their well being.
In addition to donations from individuals a number of local shops have also provided generous supplies of grocery items.
A GoFundMe page has also been set up to help purchase grocery items for those most in need- gofundme.com/f/glenavon-covid19-response-initiative.
