Dungannon Swifts have announced that manager Kris Lindsay has signed a two year contract extension with the Stangmore Park club.

The club have also confirmed that Dixie Robinson, Jay Willis and Terry Fitzpatrick will be part of Lindsay’s backroom staff for the remainder of the 2019/2020 Danske Bank Premiership campaign.

Speaking of the extension, Lindsay said ““I’m absolutely delighted to sign an extension to my contract with the club. We have a very talented group of players at the club with a lot of youth and the futures looking bright. I am really looking forward to continue to work with them and progress both on and off the pitch.

“Furthermore, I am delighted to confirm Dixie Robinson, Jay Willis and Choka (Terry Fitzpatrick) are continuing on in their roles within the first team set up. They are Dungannon swifts through and through and since they have stepped up to the first team, they have fitted in seamlessly and contributed massively to results and performances since the turn of the year.”

Former Linfield and Glenavon defender Lindsay was appointed to his first managerial role in September 2018 following the departure of Rodney McAree from the Swifts.

Dungannon currently sit in ninth place in the Danske Bank Premiership prior to the suspension of football.
