Bluefin Sport Championship club Knockbreda have parted ways with manager Lee Forsythe.
In a short statement on the club’s Twitter page, they stated; “Knockbreda FC and manager Lee Forsythe have parted ways. All at Knockbreda would like to thank Lee for his time as manager and wish him the best for the future.”
Forsythe joined Knockbreda as manager in May 2017 after a successful spell in charge of Amateur League side Ards Rangers, he replaced Garth Scates in the Breda Park hotseat leading the club to two consecutive tenth place finishes.
The East Belfast club currently sit bottom of the Championship with only one win in their opening 14 league games in the second tier this season. Forsythe’s final game in charge ended in a 5-0 defeat to Dundela on Saturday.
Managerless Knockbreda make the trip to promotion hopefuls Portadown on Saturday in their next match (kick-off: 3pm).
