The fixtures have been revealed for the new Bluefin Sport Championship season which kicks off on Saturday 3 August.
For the first time the twelve teams will face each other three times over the course of the regular 33 game league season with the split coming before the final five games of the campaign – similar to the Danske Bank Premiership model.
Two sides come down from the Premiership as Darren Mullen’s Newry travel to HW Welders on the opening day of the season, whilst Warren Feeney’s Ards take on PSNI at their temporary home of the Dub.
Last season’s promoted club, Queens University, make the trip to Ballyclare Comrades in the Students’ first bow in senior football. As there's a Mid-Ulster derby between Loughgall and Portadown in the pick of the opening day fixtures.
