Ben Doherty hit a first half hat-trick as Coleraine breezed through to the BetMcLean League Cup semi-finals with victory over Dundela at Wilgar Park.
The Bannsiders held a commanding lead at the break. Doherty opened the scoring as early as the seventh minute with a 20-yard drive past Jonathan Sergeant after connecting with a James McLaughlin pass.
Doherty added a second on 20 minutes, a left-foot effort following an Emmett McGuckin flicked header inside.
Then, on 38 minutes, Ian Parkhill was brought down inside the box by Eoin Kane but from the subsequent spot-kick Doherty was denied by a fine stop from Sergeant.
However, Doherty did grab his hat-trick just three minutes after that with another penalty chance coming after Lyndon Kane had been upended by the Dundela keeper.
The Duns pulled a goal back on the hour through Owain Beggs from close range after Daniel Burns crossed from the left.
But Coleraine restored their three-goal cushion on 70 minutes when substitute Alexander Gawne pounced on an error to side foot home before, five minutes from time, Josh Carson completed the scoring from a Kane through ball.
