Coleraine produced a workmanlike performance to comfortably defeat Knockbreda to reach the last eight of the Northern Ireland League Cup.
Jamie McGonigle fired the Bannsiders in front early in proceedings with a sidefoot finish after Ian Parkhill had created the opening.
However, despite that bright start, Coleraine couldn't find another way past 'keeper Ryan McBride for the remainder of the first half. Jordan Allan blazed an effort over from inside the box not long after the goal while further chances from Parkhill and McGonigle were also thwarted.
James McLaughlin almost doubled Coleraine's lead in the opening moments of the second half when he smacked an effort against the crossbar while, on 53 minutes, Knockbreda 'keeper Ryan McBride did well to turn a low Gareth McConaghie free-kick around the post.
'Breda were then presented with a great chance when David McMaster was released by Dylan Wilson but he couldn't stop his shot from sailing over.
The Bannsiders moved two-up just after the hour when Parkhill found Allan for the on loan Derry City man to find the net from the edge of the box.
Substitute Brad Lyons completed the scoring two minutes into added time when he charged down a poor backpass to take the ball past McBride and into the empty net.
