WALSH SCORES AT BOTH ENDS AS SPOILS SHARED AT DRUMAHOE

Aaron Walsh had a game to remember as Institute shared the points with Crusaders at the Riverside Stadium.

After a quiet opening to the game 'Stute moved in front on 20 minutes after Declan McKeever had been upended in the area by Colin Coates with Walsh stepping up to confidently fire home from the spot into the bottom left corner.

The Crues might have levelled ten minutes from the break when Billy Joe Burns crashed a free-kick from distance off the crossbar before it was cleared to safety.

But Stephen Baxter's side did find the equaliser early in the second half in somewhat fortunate circumstances after Walsh - whilst attempting to clear a Richard Clarke free-kick - could only direct it into his own net.

Walsh was presented with a chance in stoppage time to earn the points for 'Stute after Burns handled a Paul McVeigh cross in the area but, on this occasion, he blasted the spot-kick high over the bar.
