Dungannon Swifts recovered from going behind early on to claim a maximum return from this visit to Milltown.

Warrenpoint needed just five minutes to seize the advantage after Alan Davidson got onto a through ball from Lorcan Forde to smash the ball beyond Andy Coleman into the roof of the net from 16 yards out.

The Swifts got back on level terms eight minutes into the second half courtesy of Ryan Mayse's wonderful first time volley after Johnny Lafferty nodded the ball back from the right.

Then, just after the hour, the visitors moved in front after Paul McElroy's right-sided cross appeared to be touched over the line by Kris Lowe despite Stephen Moan's best efforts to clear.

Dungannon ended the game with ten men following skipper Ryan Harpur's 83rd minute dismissal for a second booking.
