Glentoran played almost the entire game with ten men but still managed to earn a point from this visit of Crusaders to The Oval.

The game got off to a sensational start after Glentoran 'keeper Elliott Morris was shown a straight red card after bringing down Paul Heatley as he attempted to take the ball past him.

Morris was replaced by substitute 'keeper Aaron Hogg - on for David Scullion - but his first move was to correctly dive low to his right to keep out Michael Carvill's penalty.

But the ten men moved in front on 19 minutes courtesy of a wonderful, unstoppable Jordan Stewart strike from 30 yards which thundered into the top corner.

Crusaders levelled five minutes from the break courtesy of a Josh Robinson back post header from Richard Clarke's free-kick.

However, the Glens regained the advantage just before the hour mark with Stewart's second of the game, a successfully converted penalty awarded after Colin Coates had upended Curtis Allen.

Crusaders equalised for a second time five minutes later, though, after Jordan Owens wasn't picked up to head home from seven yards.
