Cliftonville extended their winning run with victory over Warrenpoint Town at Milltown.

Stephen Murray might have fired 'Point in front as early as the third minutes only to see his goalbound effort cleared off the line by Jamie Harney.

Play then switched quickly to the other end, however, for Jay Donnelly to slip Joe Gormley through to slot the ball past Johnny Parr.

Warrenpoint levelled on 18 minutes through Sean Mackle when his lob beat Brian Neeson after Stephen Moan found him in space.

The Reds restored their lead after half-an-hour, though, after a quickly taken Jude Winchester free-kick caught the home defence unawares allowing Rory Donnelly the chance to knock the ball beyond Parr.

Jay Donnelly could have added a third early in the second half after being afforded a free header from Levi Ives' cross.

Clear cut chances were something of a rarity for the next half-an-hour or so before a flurry late in the game led to Cliftonville's third goal when, in stoppage time, Jay Donnelly worked his way in from the left before tucking the ball below Parr to make sure of the points.
