A late, late Diarmuid O'Carroll goal saw Crusaders snatch a last gasp point from this trip to Milltown.
Crusaders created a number of chances in the scoreless first half but, ultimately, they couldn't find a way past Jonathan Parr.
On eight minutes Declan Caddell had a go from outside the box but this was easily held by the Warrenpoint 'keeper.
Then, just after the quarter-of-an-hour mark, Jordan Forsythe sent the ball over from the right but Paul Heatley couldn't prevent his subsequent header from going over.
Another chance came on 35 minutes with Forsythe this time sending the ball too high at the near post from a Michael Carvill corner.
As the second half progressed Warrenpoint came into the game more.
Stephen Hughes saw an early effort cleared for a corner while, a short time later, only a combination of a Sean O'Neill save and Josh Robinson's goalline clearance kept Barry Gray's side out.
But, on 72 minutes, Mark Hughes fired 'Point in front with a right-foot shot from the edge of the box.
And it got worse for the Crues with eight minutes remaining after they were reduced to ten men when Robinson was dismissed for clipping the heels of John McGuigan just outside the area as he burst clear on the counter-attack.
However, three minutes into stoppage time, the visitors levelled from the spot when O'Carroll beat Parr to his right-hand side after Heatley had been brought down by Liam Bagnall.
