Warrenpoint Town swept to a four-goal victory over Institute thanks to two goals apiece from Alan O'Sullivan and recent signing Lee Duffy.
O'Sullivan opened the scoring as early as the fourth minute with a header past Martin Gallagher after connecting with Ciaran O'Connor's delivery from the left.
Then, on 17 minutes, O'Connor was provider again after he touched on Eamon Scannell's free-kick for O'Sullivan to double Warrenpoint's lead.
'Stute were presented with an opportunity to reduce the deficit on 36 minutes after Calum Moorehead had been upended by 'Point keeper Berraat Turker inside the area but Joe McCready could only send the subsequent spot-kick wide to the right.
And, as if to rub salt in Institute's wounds, Lee Duffy added a third for 'Point moments later when he pounced to turn home the loose ball after O'Connor's initial effort was parried by Gallagher.
McCready had a couple of chances early in the second half, one was blocked while the other deflected into the hands of Turker.
But, on 62 minutes, Duffy doubled his tally and grabbed Warrenpoint's fourth when he collected an O'Sullivan pass to complete a fantastic flowing move.
Remarkably, 'Stute missed a second penalty with a quarter-of-an-hour remaining. Aaron Harkin was the guilty party on this occasion, firing over after Jamie McIntyre had been brought down by Kris Cowan.
