Glenavon midfielder Jack O'Mahony made his Northern Ireland U21 debut this evening in the UEFA European Championship qualifier against Denmark in Aalborg.

The 19-year-old came on with a couple of minutes remaining as a replacement for Patrick Thistle's Shea Gordon just after Jens Odgaard had scored what proved to be winner in a a 2-1 victory for the Danes.

Other Danske Bank Premiership representation came via Ballymena United's Kofi Balmer, who played the full 90 minutes, while O'Mahony's Mourneview Park team-mate, Caolan Marron, got 78 minutes of action before being substituted for Cameron Palmer.

Meanwhile Larne's Sean Graham and Paul O'Neill (Glentoran), also new additions to the panel like O'Mahony, failed to come off the bench.
