Darren Murray helped Warrenpoint Town secure their first win of the season with a goal midway through the second half.

Scoreless at the break, both sides had to be content with half chances.

Closest for the visitors was Callum Byers after half-an-hour with a header over from Scott Davidson's corner while, a short time later at the other end, Lorcan Forde skipped past two defenders before delivering a cross to which Sean Mackle just failed to connect with.

Warrenpoint started the second half on top with Conor McMenamin twice coming close before, on 63 minutes, Darren Murray fired them in front witha cracking finish past Aaron Hogg.
