On Saturday 29th April Ballinamallard United invited 22 of their more senior supporters to be 'Match Mascots' for the final Danske Bank Premiership game of the season against Carrick Rangers.

With an average age of just over 70, the oldest was club elder statesman Bertie Elliott, aged 84.

The mascots were honoured guests at the pre-match Corporate Lunch during which they were complimented by Head Coach Gavin Dykes for their support and commitment to the club.

Most of the mascots are still actively involved in the club in some way, with many being on working committees or as a club volunteer. The mix of senior men and women had a very enjoyable day.
