Warrenpoint Town secured their top flight status for another season with this narrow defeat of Glentoran at the Q Radio Arena.
'Point started off brightly with Conall Grandles enjoying a ninth minute effort while Dean Watters missed a glorious opportunity with a quarter-of-an-hour gone when he fired high and wide from a great position.
The chances continued with Josh Lynch firing over midway through the first half but, around the half-hour mark, Glentoran almost edged in front when Curtis Allen nodded a Ross Redman corner against an upright.
Warrenpoint looked the more likely to score, almost managing it just before the break when Forde and then Alan O'Sullivan brought two great saves from Elliott Morris.
Forde was a threat again early in the second half when he went past a couple of defenders before seeing his shot blocked and cleared.
Lynch then tested Morris with a stinging effort while, for Glentoran, Robbie McDaid sent a 75th minute drive just wide of the target.
Glentoran almost nicked it right at the end when Allen was played through but Berraat Türker was quick to react to the danger before Daniel Kelly sent another ball over.
But there was still time for Forde to grab Warrenpoint's winner in stoppage time with a great solo effort which saw him bypass three defenders before dinking the ball past Morris.
