Ards and Warrenpoint Town shared the spoils with a goal and point apiece from this encounter at the Bangor Fuels Arena.
The first half-an-hour was a scrappy affair, although both sides did have their chances.
Josh Kelly came closest for Ards with a deflected effort wide from Craig McClean's curling free-kick while, for 'Point, Philip Donnelly saw his 25-yard effort saved by Sam Johnston.
Then, later in the first half, Kym Nelson was inches away with an effort from some 20 yards on the right which just skimmed over the crossbar.
But the deadlock was broken in Ards' favour just five minutes after the break when the visiting defence was caught napping allowing Michael McLellan to beat the offside trap and slot past Aaron McCarey.
However, barely sixty seconds later, it was all square again after Eamon Scannell unleashed a superb 25-yard effort past Johnston into the top corner.
Finely balanced, the game could have gone either way with Ciaran O'Connor's free header drifting just wide for the visitors while both Nelson and Calum Byers had decent opportunities for Ards.
