Table topping Coleraine have secured the services of three key players in Chris Johns, Ian Parkhill and Ciaron Harkin all signing new contract extensions until the end of the 2019/2020 season.

22-year-old goalkeeper Chris Johns has become the latest player to sign an extension over the last few days, as the former Southampton stopper and son of former Ireland rugby star Paddy Johns has become a star performer for Oran Kearney’s Bannsiders since joining in January 2016.

Harkin, currently on international duty with the Northern Ireland Under-21 duty, has revelled in a central midfield role since joining from Institute in January 2017. Whilst veristile winger Ian Parkhill at 27 is one of the more experienced players in the Ballycastle Road side and a regular since joining from Tobermore United in 2014.

Next up for Coleraine is a top two clash against Linfield at the Coleraine Showgrounds on Saturday 14 October (kick-off 3pm).
