NIFL want to support members and their personnel to ensure high levels of quality within clubs and to encourage development and sustainability. This will be available through direct contact with our Club Development Manager and/or training opportunities. Below are a number of current opportunities:-

First Aid

  • Wednesday, 2nd & 9th December, 2015 - Newforge Country Club, Belfast BT9 5NW (7pm to 10pm) *must attend both nights*
  • Sunday, 10th January, 2016 - Stangmore Park, Dungannon BT71 6LW(9:30am to 5pm)

Maximum 2 spaces per club. Each course can host 16 so it will be first come first served. 

While NIFL has provided this training free as part of our commitment to member clubs there will be a ‘no-show’ fee of £40pp for any club that books but does not attend.

Anti-Doping Workshop
NIFL has developed an Anti-Doping workshop to increase awareness and offer practical tips and guidance for players, management and support personnel. This 30 minute workshop can be delivered on training nights at clubs.

Steward Training

Match day Stewards play an important role in the safety of NIFL games. To support clubs we are working in partnership with Sport NI and the IFA to provide training to club volunteers. Dates will be available shortly but for further info contact Club Development Manager.

Club Leaders NI
Club Leaders NI provides free training and support to those doing the day-to-day running of community sport, helping create a robust, economically sustainable and enterprising club network.

NIFL will be organising this training on behalf of our clubs with the aim of improving business skills in our clubs. For further info on the programme go to or Club Development Manager.
