McCOUBREY AND O'CONNOR ON TARGET FOR WELDERS
Ewan McCoubrey and Tiarnan O’Connor were on target for HW Welders as they swept past managerless Ballyclare Comrades at the Blanchflower Stadium.
McCoubrey opened the scoring after half-an-hour after getting behind the defence to send a strong finish past Gerard Walker.
O’Connor doubled up just before the hour after cutting in from the left to combine with Josh Kee to fire beyond the keeper, and doubled his tally 20 minutes after that with a nutmeg through Walker’s legs on the counter attack.
Brian Healy pulled a consolation back for Ballyclare late in the game after sprinting through to beat Jack Mills.
