ANNAGH WIN SEVEN GOAL THRILLER
Annagh United produced the result of the evening after coming from behind to defeat leaders Bangor at the BMG Arena.
Matthew Ferguson fired the Seasiders in front during the opening exchanges with a simple finish into an unguarded net from Ben Arthurs’ lay-off.
Arthurs then doubled the lead midway through the first half with a header from Tiarnan Mulvenna’s corner but, just a few minutes later, Ryan Swan pulled one back from the right after latching onto a long ball forward.
Ferguson restored Bangor’s two-goal lead with just over a quarter-of-an-hour remaining with a shot in off the post but again Annagh hit back within minutes when Stephen Murray found the bottom right from 25 yards.
Then, just moments after that, Swan hit his second of the night to equalise when got onto a long ball to finish in the same corner.
And Murray hit the winner with his second of the evening four minutes from time after receiving the ball from Swan to find the net from the edge of the area.
