NORTH DOWN DERBY ENDS IN STALEMATE
Leaders Bangor faced neighbours Ards at Clandeboye Park but neither side could find a way through.
The Seasiders were forced to play for over an hour with ten men following Robert Garrett's dismissal for a challenge on Aidan Steele on 27 minutes.
Ards came closest to breaking the deadlock in the first half when a Conor Scannell free-kick was touched over by James Taylor while, from the resultant corner, Eamonn Scannell turned the ball against an upright.
Bangor had their chances after the break, and they almost snatched the win in stoppage time only for a Ben Arthurs header to be cleared off the line.
